RLA Celebrates 50 Years

As part of its celebration of this milestone, RLA hosted a dinner for employees and guests. As reported in the local daily newspaper “The Advertiser”, executive chairman of RLA Sandy Daw said that “less than 0.1 of 1 per cent of companies reach their 50th anniversary”. RLA chief executive officer Owen Crees attributes this success to “always having some work going on looking for the next new technology - the world doesn’t stop when new technologies reach the market, we want something new coming along all the time. We are more than a research company, the people who work here have the chance to be creative as research scientists, but equally they have the opportunity to see an idea right through to a product on a shelf and to be part of that process in a very intimate way”.
